Try having more that 1 alchemy table with 2 and a half destililers.
You cannot even scroll **** in and out, deh berries or deh roses will just be put in vials again. Gotta scroll out the dehidrated rose and the shift click in the regular rose. Repeat that 300 times each round
Or maybe you still have to unlock the skill to use them? I admit they look very nice but looks are deceptive

nothing, it is a matter of time efficiency and stupid interface design (part of the "easy small general improvements" suggested many times years ago) that requires clicking through each table 20+ times. most end game players have a few hundred distillers. the balance (and reason berry juice fruit is so much cheaper along with a bit stronger than honey fruit) was due to this time efficiency. the plugin allows you to accomplish what would take in some cases two hours of distiller loading in about 20 minutes as it automatically does all the opening/clicking/placing/removing.

without burning out a mouse, without sitting there clicking for hours, without developing carpal tunnel syndrome.

this is why the market of distiller related materials have taken a ****.

right, because since early paradox alpha and every incarnation of haven before salem even existed has not handed every single advantage on a silver platter to mediocre ****** players who have done nothing but join a large group of equally ****** players, the game needs more pointless busy work. at least according to someone who was not competitive when he did play over two years ago unless he was with 5 others sitting behind a wall.

this is the difference in european vs american game design, even with modern ****** themepark titles the american games tend to favor personal achievement and individual skill/creativity but hand no disadvantage to those who want to form large groups, the choice is the players. euro games however love to recreate the collective mediocrity and socialism that grips the majority of their countries and as such will create mechanics to force people into that playstyle. since the core of salem was created around these ideals by retarded euros the current ***** is what we get.

 because I don't fill hundreds a day
get over yourself buddy

@Darwoth - Yh, it hurts the hand but I thought that is what was supposed to make it better. My problem isn't with how much of a ***** distillers are it is with the fact there is a bot for it.

Stop asking stupid questions if you are not willing to hear the answers.

Stop using distillers if you are too much of a ***** to put up with the work required

agreed, if there was not a bot for it i would not care and would use my distillers once every blue moon or less as before.

but there is, and i refuse to use it as kandarim is not a trustworthy source, the client itself is unstable as *****, becoming a hypocrite and playing games to play them myself vs watch it play itself. however since there is a bot, right there for every ******* to download i do because every drooling retard around can now run 4 cycles in a day in less time than it takes to do one legitimately.

I'm too tired to read the actual posts, but on the topic of complexity being a hassle, would the extra complexity be worth it if the yield was also increased, and hopefully if complexity could somehow mess up botting attempts?

The problem isn't in lie with the bot itself for the distiller. It lies within the ability for botters to hard-bot farming gardening pots for roses and berries from a line of berry bushes.

Botters likely have a much harder time farming clay because of the way clay farming works so that's how they came to resort to this.

That being said, it would be better for the distiller bot to go away on devs command but unless the devs enforce it further by studying players in-game who have lots of distillers then publicly removing access to it will help no one except the people who have actually coded the botting devices and their close adversaries.

yes the tired "but then some people will still have it but not everyone!" line has been around since everquest beta with showeq (a primititive radar and packet sniffer for reading loot drops on mobs etc) that only ran on linux, the reason the turds that used showeq made it only work on linux is because back then nobody knew how to use linux and unlike "some people" i have had lengthy arguments with about this very issue they actually played a pvp game or two before and had enough foresight to know that if it was widespread it would completely ***** the game up.

just like plugins have done with many many aspects of salem directly and indirectly.

even still, the devs regularly set "traps" for seq users by seeding a mob with a rare drop and flagging it invisible or placing it under the world where you could not target it and then watching invis for who beelined to it, once you were caught using SEQ your accounts were banned, your credit card was banned and any card with an identical name/address was banned.

i am so sick of the "oh well what can we do mang" ***** because it is exactly that, *****.

the solution is to create a real client and forbid the others including removing the threads for them, reduce the tedium of clicking 5 million times on everything in general lowering the desire for said bots in the first place, make any server side changes that may help and have a dev presence where someone actually investigates when the bot detection goes off.

short of that simply ***** the entire arcana forum of nonsense would be nothing but an improvement.
