Basically and upgrade of a sign.
Something where you can write set of longer editable posts.
Amount of posts would be limited and each time you modify the board some paper would be used (but something like 0.05)
You should be able to restock message board with paper.

Why I need it?
I have set of containers in town which are locked with pair of keys for trade.
I have a key to each chest and other citizens have a key to only one - there are as many chests as people.
It would be nice to write messages about prices and things we need to exchange in future since we play in different timezones and we didn't bother to make contact on forum and its even preferable it stays that way.
PMing each time we need 10 beaver cuts is tedious - why bother?
Just put goods in the chest with message in the board - that would be great.

This allows for small trade within towns and village wide communication when people play in different timezones.

I say: privacy, more efficient, less tedious.

We have both books and signs. If you would of researched this I believe that there have been previous threads on the topic. Skype or IRC works great for this. There are numerous chat room apps for this.

I am in need of something like this, too, and won't mind if this ever gets added.

Wasn't this in the last dev update thread? John has always wanted to link the forums to the game in some way. It's one of the more complicated things we want to add though.
