Books usability

We go white letters on light/pale background, smallest font size and non-selectable text. Could u pweezee make it a bit more convenient to read :)

That was the plan back in the days to add more formatting options for easier book writing but I think they couldn't find a solution or they didn't deem it necessary.

We dont need any fireworks. Font colour, text selectable and the letter size doesnt demand huge system rework.

IMHO the best idea is to make book readable offline and linked to players account so the book itself will be only the link, or the book author can decide if his book is a plain text oldstyle book or the link to the document offline. It may demand the new skill and is a point of discussion then ;)
Pros:
- reading offline, no afk time
- all formatting stuff managed by the browser, less codework
- all advantages of the html: formatting, tables etc.
- account linked documents make it at least little secured from piracy

Cons:
- piracy: its hard to prevent ppl from copypasting book contents to public forum

Any devs/mods like to join the discussion? :)

You can't private piracy. Don't bother trying ;p

How about the whole idea of this linked documents? (offline is not a good term)
