Making death better

Okay i was thinking last night how to make perma death in salem better, just remove it ¦]
Kiding, this kind of sistem would make the death of old alts even desirable, because you could get somthing out of it.

First of all we have the inheritance sistem, with it you can regain some biles and proficiencies.

Now my idea, if your alt dies his descendant inherits some of the biles and proficiencies as in curent sistem, but because your new alt is his descendent he also get some little bonuses (the exact formula and the bonus could be hiden).

Example of the bonus
your alt dies 100 points in thread&needle his descendant gets a small bonus of 0,1% higher chance to slot clothes, so for every 100 points in thread and needle of the ancestor the descendant would get 0,1% higher chance to slot clothes, if the ancestor has 1000points in T&N the descendant would recive a 1% higher chance to slot. Ofcourse it doesent need this bonus it could be anything but i would put some kind of bonus to every proficinc, for example H&H higher dmg to animals or lower dmg from animals, C&D higher dmg to alts, or lower bb drain, S&C some guaranteed plenty bonus on the filds, P&P higher spell power etc.

So as you see this wouldnt be such a big bonuses but just liitle % bonuses after 1st inheritance, but if you inherit 3,4 or more times the bonus would add up, which would give us 2,3,4... generation hunters, figters, farmers, tailors, witches and any 2,3,4 generation farmer, hunter etc would be better at that thing that the 1st generation one (in this case anyones 2nd alt could become more powerful than his curent main), ofcorse there sould be cap somewhere to how much bonus you can get max (or not?).

Now how to prevent exploits, simple if your alt dies the descendant will get some bonuses as i said, if the descendant dies the next alt will get half the bonus the 1st decendant recived and the full bonus from the descendants proficiencies.

To simlifi
1st alt no bonus
2nd alt 100% bonus from 1st alt
3rd alt 100% bonus from 2nd alt and 50 or 75% bonus from 1st alt
etc

If a descendant dies within a month of his ancestors death the next alt would lose all the bonus, and has to start form the begining, he would still be able to inherit the biles and proficiencies with the curent inheritance sistem, but bonus would be gone.

Real life examples there are many 1,2,3,4,5... generation hunters, tailors, bankers, seamans...

Coment pls

I fear that people would actually put in the effort to grind out deaths for something like this.

This.

But I have been strongly considering lately to change the inheritance system where instead of a FLAT return to prof and humours, it instead allows rebuilding a character to the previous ancestor at an accelerated rate. The main problem I have with this change is that is already theoretically possible with the burial system.

But most of the time it's pretty difficult to take advantage of the burial system, since 9/10 the character dies, gets carried off or dies somewhere, where the alt won't get to. Although, I'm guessing that's how it was designed.
