Charge spam is annoying. I watched a deer 4 shot a bear. Players including myself get KO'd all the time if you don't kill them in 2 shots. They are cheap and need their damage reduced.

you can kill a deer without taking a hit. just stay next to them until they stop moving.

It doesn't always work. They charge if you're any farther away than in their face, and since they wander in random directions, your going to get charged sooner or later. What about them killing bears in 4 shots, bears don't know to stay in their face. The bottom line is that deers need their damage nurfed, or Jorb and Loftar need to release an update where equipment has armor values.

or stop being a noob and learn how click to move around in this game. I only took 1 deer charge since they changed combat with animals. it isn't hard to do this. who cares if they are killing bears. take the free loot. bottom line is you need to l2p and get out of guard or forage mode or stop usind the keyboard to move around.

Nice Hint is to zoom the cam a bit more close (!) and ALWAYS clicking the deer with left mouse, and when it stops attack it immediatly.

My first deer I killed, I had juked 3 charges and grazed him with my sword on the side each time without a scratch on me. They're really not that hard. I didn't even know they had a charge move, I just thought that was their normal attack.

How is my noob self going to kill bears if they nerf deer?

If u hold control and left click, you move without losing the attacking icon, try moving more !

One time while fighting a deer it seemed to glitch out and charge twice in a row. This was not enough to cause any real damage, but it is worth mentioning. Otherwise, as others have mentioned, they are quite easy to kill.

Stay close to it and avoid getting charged.
