With the introduction of goats in expeditions, I hope this is a serious consideration for a pest or full on darkness creature.

Don't those in some way actually fit the lore? or how I at least originally understood it. I know the direction of the game may have changed, but it wasn't the darkness and the creatures with in those of legend?

Salem is all about legends, rumors and the like. Not sure when they all first began but I'm sure the first settlers in America started at least a few of them about various beasts.

We're trying to base the Darkness monsters on creatures of the lumberwoods and the older indian legends.
