It would still weigh the same, so why does it matter?
Get some egg yoke if you wish to carry more.

@UP... example
if you have backpack (50% reduce)
so 15kg Dry Goods Bag = 7.5kg
so you 30kg -> 15kg you can 2x more
if you have fine leather dry goods bag = 30kg
and you have fine leather backpack 70% reduce
30kg -> 9kg
so is not still same weight :}
= you can put more in backpack ... now not so much :] ( if live near river you not ..) but i first location not lvie... and is horrible without water.. all want water:D

Why think so small, why not let us put it in barrels?

Sacks! They fold up when empty so they can fit in our inventory (unlike barrels) but when placed on the floor we can fill them and lift them. Coding wise they might be similar to pots that hang over fireplaces except they can be placed anywhere, and then like stock bins in that they can only contain one type of good that is limited in type, rubble, grass, reeds, fish, coal, ore, rocks, cotton, sand, shells, cabbages, pumpkins... lets say it can hold 40 of an item?
Trouble is that barrels only have one purity for their contents, same as dry goods bags. Stock bins on the other hand are simply stacks of items, so in terms of rubble, the hardness value would not be lost/averaged.
