Hollow Logs

Postby painhertz » Wed Aug 01, 2012 3:39 am

I notice that bushes and the hollow logs can be opened like containers. Would it be possible for there to be a % chance of a surprise in them? Maybe a couple of curios, a swarm of bees that stings your ass for some small damage, etc etc. I recommended something like this back in Alpha. It also wouldn't hurt to have random spawn abandoned Indian camps where you can find maybe a small cache of arrowheads or feathers, etc etc, just **** to make exploring a little more interesting. Anywho, that's my piece.

Already found some new curiosities in bushes. But I'll leave the surprise to you. ;)

From this comment I get the impression he had thought of it and we should keep checking hollow logs and stumps :P

Try picking up the hollow logs. Some of them have cool things underneath :)
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

Glorious sarcasm.

Can we put things inside hollow logs?
I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.

yes, very handy
can you make sword in box light sword so sword come out when opened? then if sword is back after sword, use light saber on box, and saber will be boxed after sword is out. - Battlebug (Sw:tor forums pre-wipe)

I found a dried snake skin in a old stump - not sure if another player put it there though :D

A lot of different juicy stuff spawns inside logs, bushes and stumps.
