This was brought up in chat, not my idea but seems amazing. I did search the forum and seem nothing as such, apologies if it has been suggested. How about in the mine being able to discover an underground stream? This is reasonable compared to real world, also it would make sifting much easier. I'm sure this would be difficult to put into game, have no idea of programming, but would be a nice add.

Something like this would be nice, however water ways should not apear before depth lv 5 even then it should be hard to find like finding silver, a single river of pool of water on each level after 5.

Would require quite some effort to find it in the first place, effort should be rewarded

what about sifting with buckets ?

Or the stream can be deep water and all the ores will appear on the other side forcing you to use canoes to transport ores
