Sounds good, but its very unlikely it will be implemented if that is the only use for bundle of sticks.
Boards and coal are pretty good fireplace fillers as they are.
Hell, even wood blocks are fine.

Well, if it was possible to "combine them" with fibre - let's say, 10 branches and 1/2 fibres, possibly using them for some easy curio later on? Obviously not much of an endgame-tier material.

Well, Bundling sticks would be useful for benefitting from backpacks' weight reduction--Really situational, but still.

Completely useless esthetic idea:
Why are horses so heckin freaky lookin? Why does Founding Father Bro (the statue) in Prov get a noble (and slightly overweight) steed and we get these skinny things that look like they're from that Fantasia scene "Night On Bald Mountain" ? :P
Will we have horses in the future that are slightly more attractive or at least errrr won't look like a stiff breeze will knock em over? :)

Edit: Can antlers possibly be considered as bones in the future? We accumulate mass amounts of them and don't use them often enough as curios. :?
