One of my favorite things to do is the dock club fight, it's a chance to fight the bigger guys and all around it's fun. But right now they seem spontaneous, so I ask that they become a regular and planned event that is automated so John doesn't have to be there for every one. The prizes don't have to be a cash shop item everytime, it could simply take an entry fee of some sort (maybe 5s regularly and 25s on the weekend or something) and then the winner gets the pool (minus the share to his majesty of course, who allows us to have such fun).

The thing that has be skeptical about this is the Dock Club is always open. Its not like I open it specifically for my spontaneous fight. So what you are really asking for is a 'Spam the Server' message system that 'announces a fight' every so often.

Well I was mostly thinking of something along the lines of once a day there is an automatic fight with a prize involved where you're not allowed to rejoin the fight after being ko'd. So basically just like the fights you host (or at least the last man standing one), just automatic.

Ooh wait better idea.

When you talk to the dock club guy you're allowed to "sponsor" an event. You can pick the rules, game mode, ect. over 1000s gives a server message, winner gets the amount (minus expenses)

That sounds like a much better idea but I don't see why we would need to have a pay 1000s to spam the server option, you could just announce it on the forums. And you probably don't really even need automation just get a trusted merchant to hold the prize money and distribute it, minus a fee, after the fight.

Was thinking it might be fun if server took care of some of that stuff, and that way you could only let people in once and stuff, have different victory conditions, stuff like that I guess.

Besides would the king really let such an activity go by unregulated (aka UNTAXED!?!?)?

Many thing like this go untaxed, including previous dock club fights organized by the community, his majesty only taxes things that people need him to regulate and automate for them. So if he has to automate the fights they will likely be taxes at a high percentage but if they are run by players they will not be.

Incorporating a system to automate dock club events (game modes, server spam, closing the space off, a timer, spawns, etc) would be too nice a thing at this stage of development, imo.
