Then why couldn't plastic be in game here? It's lot like we represent the real world, I mean we (are going to) have witchcraft.

Plastic I think gives to much of a modern feel to the game. I mean you really didn't see plastic back then. I would suggest a glass material instead. It wouldn't work with the gloves but it could be used for vials and what not. I kinda say no to plastic, it would just kinda ruin the older age feel of the game.

Also you might not have paid much attention in history class, but Salem Mass. Was kinda well known for it's witchcraft.
