Alternately: you can't add something to the stall without setting a price.

Of course, this means that if someone doesn't want to sell a thing, they'll just set the price to 9999s or whatever the max value is, which is why I mention just auto-pricing after 12 hrs.

Shouldn't be 1s, but the price of the Boston stalls.

Just putting that in there ;)
I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.

I wonder if additional stalls are going to be added by the devs over time or by the player by means of constructions in designated locations inside Boston.

Increasing weekly rent value (1000s per week), but lowering initial price (2000s) would be nice.
Maybe then we would see stalls full of items, not 4 empty and 2-3 items in few others?

In my opinion, having a stagnant number of valuable objects in a dynamic, growing game is a bad idea. Not only does it limit the experience of new players but it would also create painful levels of inflation that do not benefit the game or the bulk of players in any way. Due to this, I think it's safe to assume that in some shape or form, more stalls will pop their heads up.

What I mean is maybe you would have to buy a 'writ' to put into the construction of a stall. But something needs to be done about empty stalls.

A noob question about stalls, since there is absolutely no info about them anywhere (or did i miss it?):

Who, how and when can buy/own a stall? Is the number of the stalls available going to be increased in the future, or the available ~9-10 stals which are not present in boston going to be monopolized by a handful of "elite" people?

Currently, you can only buy stalls when nobody owns them. In reality it comes down to who buys them first. Maybe their number will be increased in the future, as it happened this week (like 10 new ones were added).

So in the end, whoever is first to get them will probably keep them forever.

with the addition of all the new stalls anybody who does not have one was never going to run a shop anyway.

maybe add a few more when open beta or release rolls around.

I assume that most of the new stalls landed in hands of previous stalls owners anyway, since most likely they had enough cash to buy multiple ones. To make stalls available to more players you could switch from buying whole stalls, to renting particular slots, and release them when items in it have been sold. One of the bigger problems with current stall system is that most stalls are empty and they are never getting freed.

I wrote about that in some older thread though.
