You maybe know that these people who only play with mobile arent kind of people that would enjoy salem at all. (permadeath, you have to search wikis and forum all the time to understand anything)
Requires LOTS of time. They dont have lots of time, they just want to play some game for few minutes when they got spare time. You barely can even log on and walk off from your bed and house. Competition in mobile games is absolutely huge. This thread can be locked, pointless discussion. Impossible to do, except if you recode whole thing with some smaller scale maybe singleplayer.

The only other game I play right now is an app on my phone, Summoners War. My wife and I bought windows tablets just so we could play salem away from the desk, so we directly contradict your idea of who plays what :)

I like how you try to state your opinion as fact, next you're going to tell us that you're not an austistic mlp fan boy that stumlbed upon this game. keep posting your ideas tulg, not a huge fan of it, but beats most retarded ideas i've seen lately.

I'm with Dallane/Meow here.
Putting aside the fact that it would take a tremendous amount of man hours to develop a mobile client, it would
1) be impractical. The market is filled to the brim with bad mobile-ports. If you want to build a mobile game, DESIGN a mobile game. don't port from another platform.
2) be impractical. Basically it would be impossible to catch anyone offline, ever. Aside from implementation it would require a complete re-think of a.o. the criminal system.
3) be impractical. think of the influx of carebears!

PS: Yes, i'm one of those people that owns a smartphone but has zilch games installed on it. If I want to play games, i'll boot up my computer. If I don't have access to it, I have better things to do than play games anyway.

now,

What I would like to see is some page with
1) a character planner: outfit a guy, give him a bile level and check his damage with various skills against a similarily selected opponent.
2) a skill planner: skill tree etc
3) [on the border] a page with general server info, a bit more expanded from the current server status: population, load, but also season, time since season change, number of scalpings in the last 243 minutes, etc. Probably most people will disagree with me, but I find it wearisome to log into the game simply to check whether it is everbloom yet/bears are in hibernation/etc...
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

For my input, I was merely brainstorming possible ideas getting to show that an app could touch a wide variety of features that could appeal to the masses. I would use anything from a data base like wiki to a more interactive app. A seasonal update, list of scalps, and even a way to see server announcements like when events start would be very helpful to many I feel. Other more controversial Options such as interacting with characters of course could be useful but require a great deal more Dev interaction and thought (but some probably would find those features a perk as well).

I'm not about to begin to say I know how to transfer hand info into an app, but I think these suggestions, appear to only pull data from the server, shouldn't be as difficult or intrusive as other suggestions.

Seasonal updates and events I know are common questions in my Skype chat.
