Only if they keep smoked meat as the best option for game meats. If they just balance it, then it will be fine.
Another option would be to make an entire smoked animal a single glutting item, we eat entire, fairly large, dishes and pies in one bite so why not an entire smoked bear. As long as it required a whole, cleaned but unbutchered, bear The amount of work to make a large number of smoked bears would discourage too much abuse.

for 5 hours of cook time they were not that overpowered for a spam food since you had to run dozens of smokers, an according amount of supporting storage AND have access to a renewable source of high end metal to even approach "overpowered" level, this also does not even take into account the effort of hunting all that meat to begin with, which is a lot more time consuming than throwing seeds on a field. with this argument you are really debating whether or not a sound base with advanced infrastructure should be better than the ***** most of the people here live in and produce better results accordingly, i vote yes.

the meats themselves are not particularly out of whack, it simply seems that way to clueless retards since metal and thus meat is the first widely available "purity" food, for people who have never had purity food or broken beyond low/medium range character status this seems like a "big deal" because they just boosted their ****** character a large percentage of its previous value. down the road when crops are as a rule also above 80% there will be a host of new foods that are chosen to be "overpowered" because some little ******** does not want to mass produce them and does not like the idea that someone else is either so he will make a thread ***** about it in an effort to slow progress across the board so he gets left behind just a little bit slower. you know, exactly like what happened here.

Now now my ineptitude as a player is not what this thread is about XD There are plenty of other threads for that.

I'd be happy to keep mass producing smoked meats tbh, I just don't think it's what JC had in mind is all. But hey, if that's how he wants us to bile up our characters, then by all means, let's glutton on.

Your shirt and pants should rip at the seams after eating a smoked bear. You should also walk more slowly for the next week - and have a large pregnant bulge.

Is that any different to what should happen when I eat 80 meal sized dishes or hundreds of smoked cuts in a day? We already glut enough to make Paul Bunyan's stomach split, lets go into full insanity mode.
