I havent thought of this but Im worried it is not actually working this way.
Today I paid my second ever rent and of course I tried to do it using the silver that was "banked" in my stand. It simply didnt let me do it, I had to pay using the silver "on me".
These are two different things but at some point theyre similar.

Rent could, in theory, be auto-deducted from any silver in the stall.

An update on the taxes... I have since experimented with this and stalls take 15s out of every 100s made... for instance if you sell 10 5s item (50s) then sell another item for 50s the 50s item will only give you 35s but all the items before will give you full price.

Sounds like it's time for secession.

Secession is criminal. Abraham Lincoln himself said so.

You might want to check up on your arithmetic, there. :)

Some stalls are empty, some are used as personal storage. There are many players who want to have a stall to sell some stuff but not possible. Anyways, we love the barrels.

Bit of a necro, but I certainly agree this is an issue. Of all the stalls rented, only 2-3 are actually trying to sell things. Most are sitting empty or with useless things for sale like arrowheads.

This is not exactly the bazaar I was envisioning.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

it's actually kinda *****, I only see good **** on 1-3 stalls and the rest forever empty or for storage

out of our active player base, only releasing that many stalls is crap, it's a HUGE advantage if you actually stock it, you will make massive amounts of silver, and everyone checks them religiously, only to be disappointed each time.

The number of stalls doesn't bother me, the ability to lock people out of having one while not using it is another issue.

Would be interesting if there was a bidding system of some kind, and stalls re-opened for bidding once every X amount of time. Would let people at least compete, and to defend the rich factions would have to take money out of the economy to defend the stalls.

Not sure if that's a fix though honestly.
