"Needs" a stall? Please explain.

If stall is an easy mode, then who is the one who needs it?

If stall is there to make money, then who is the one who needs it?

I think you wanted to say "deserves". But you knew it would sound too elitist

To continue the subject of "need". Let's assume that the purpose of stall is not serving as a vault, or a way to hold monopoly, but to simply sell items. Then who has bigger need? People who keep stalls empty or with overpriced items which never sell, or the ones actually using them to sell stuff?

Or do you believe that devs added the stalls so that dedicated players like you or chief could simply buy them all to hold monopoly or store their items, as a reward for their dedication?

no i meant to say what i said, i have no problem sounding elitist because the only people offended by "elitists" are those that are always sucking hind tit for one reason or another.

if you cant manage to log on once a day and are a broke retard that had to "gather" 3 to 5k then you certainly are not much of a "trader" and therefore have no real use for a stall other than the whopping 6 slots of potential "storage" that you and others are using as your rallying cry, emphasis on the cry part.

Now going back to you believing that more stalls will be added. With some people being extra rich, how do you think it will work? First rich person who spots stalls will buy them all, effectively not changing anything. It will be a matter of hours.

There were many propositions of making stalls more available to people who would actually use them. Renting stalls for weeks in an auction system. Renting single stall slots for the time of item sale. Auction system. Increased upkeep lowered by sales. But no, all of them are bad, because they remove advantage for which you paid hundreds of dollars.

Read up. At this point logging once a day won't help. You would basically need a bot sitting in Boston ready to buy out any stalls that appear, within 10 minutes.
You have your advantage, and no matter how ridiculous it is, you will hold to it and shout at anyone who dares to want to remove it.
Do you really think that stalls were planned to be used as they are now? With stalls being the only real pay-to-win element of the game, do you think they will stay this way? Or are you just too blinded by the advantage they provide to you?

 how many hundreds of dollars did i pay exactly?

funny, the "rich" didnt buy them all any of the previous times, i had 60k on jamestown when they added more stalls, i didnt buy them all even though i could have. i know of at least 3 people on plymouth with over 200k, they didnt buy them all either.

continue with your hyperbole and retardation because you dont have a stall.

The special code of conduct does not specifically apply to Ideas and Innovations, however I would much prefer if we could keep this conversation civil all the same. This is a topic wide warning for anyone using harsh language when disagreeing with others opinions.
It's been neat to see the evolution of a game. Salem has come so far, and still has far to go. Although frustrating, I think it's been an experience worth the effort.

I'm sorry then, I have misunderstood your earlier posts.

Well, you do have around 10 stalls, right?

continue with your hyperbole and retardation because you dont have a stall.

Who are you talking to now?

Anyway, there were many suggestions about changing stalls, which would still favour most resourceful people, but they are were "bad" because they would remove Darwoth's easy mode. Either by increasing upkeep he would have to pay or by removing ability to keep stalls empty. And no matter what arguments were used Darwoth's reply is always the same - "you are a loser and a crybaby because you don't have a stall, and you are not as pro as me, who has multiple stalls. You don't deserve a stall"

The idea is to make the system self regulating rather than first come first serve. But to add a little background, here are my opinions:

1) I think stalls should be semi-rare, i don't think everyone should have one, but i do believe people should have the chance to get one.

2) I think the NPC town of Boston should be looking to maximise it's profit from stalls through taxes and rent instead of accepting 300 silver a week.

3) I think by the fact there are only 6 slots per stall, stalls were intended for selling mostly strategic resources like dry wood or iron rather than a wide selection of niche items. This leaves a demand for middlemen or crafters to make things to order via trade threads.
