it makes sense because cauldrons are instant-boil, no waiting 20 minutes every time you want to make bagels. its great for things like fruit dumplings and it WOULD be good for bagels if they would let that happen. it holds a lot of water and is perfect for things with a low boil time that take up lots of water.

no reason to NOT let that happen, anyways. makes no sense that you're blocked from boiling bagels in a cauldron. + bagels have such a short boil time the space limitation in the cauldron doesn't matter too much.

but I like blistersteel pots as an idea, too.
