A mod-maintained sticky list of things that don't need be proposed would be a very nice addition to the forum... but I think would ruin the sport to someone. Noob hunting is, after all, another core feature of the game :P

I'll think about it. I can't just make a list of suggestions, I'll have to find links to various threads about those suggestions, or it probably won't help a great deal. I don't know when I'll have time for it.

There is a mega-thread for this silliness: viewtopic.php?f=12&t=7553

Peradeath is part of the core concept of the game, it will not and should not be removed.

I was suggesting something slightly different than a mega-thread about a mechanic in particular. Remember that mega-threads are likely to derail badly and that we surely can't have a mega-thread for every and each mechanic of the game...

I was suggesting to have a mere list of categorized links to past discussions as I believe that, not implying any opinion in particular, would not suffer from the above weaknesses.

I offer myself for the job.
I was lucky...

Megathreads are easy enough to maintain and 'removing permadeath' has always been a popular topic of discussion so it warranted one. If you want to have a thread listing and linking to all ideas that have been thoroughly explored then make one and maybe poke Meow about it to get it special attention. In most cases you don't need permission to be helpful and the community as a whole will generally be appreciative of any work you put in.

A better option would be to institute account death when toon dies... so you have to create a new account every time.

Got Alts... those are gone too when any toon on the account gets wiped.

Lose all inheritance.. and void all rents when you die...

Yeah that'll keep the scavengers going.

I find it difficult not to be confused, since it was you that said it.
