you are crazy xD

I'm serious. Any reasonably well-organized and determined group of players could build up a supply, stealth finish the ark, and load their animals in a matter of minutes or at most a few hours before Darwoth even knew what was happening. He may seem godlike in his ability to scare you all *****, but he's not actually omniscient. Hell, even after he 'ends' the server, there will still be some time to finish it before the apocalypse wipes everything out.

At roughly 100 piles a day, It'll take just over a month to do the ark. My group put in roughly 9% of the ark and said screw it. Why build it for the rest of you? Transporting them is honestly more time consuming.

We have no problem doing 100 a day if we see some effort from the server. Some have been interested in joining my town, but sadly no, this is still Salem. You can't join :)

Just know if you throw a town bell up, you might get wiped out. Be happy with the ark. :)

Ok devs, now that you know that people plays for fun and not for duty, you have to decide if you want a game with animals for future players or you don't give a --- about your time spent in this system and the future players enjoinment. XD

You can't decide what's fun for others. To me, join a new server and mass-product stuff like a drone is zero fun, so i don't use a minute of my time for a task that i would not enjoy that much.
For others, that could be fun, but also a deep unbalancing of the actual system, so maybe they don't care to change their way to play.

This situation will go on for ages if you don't choose what you want to do with Your time spent on this development.
Drop it and delete the animals, or plan a new quest that's is less blackmailing.

You gotta feed the omnipotent lord Darwoth before getting his approval.
But if people REALLY wanted to finish the arc, they could have done so in first month and a half of the server.
No one would could stop them if they played as a group.
Though people say that it can be finished now, i do not think that that is a plausible scenario.

Says the person who has played on providence a total of 3 or 4 times for a length of about two or three hours in the last three months. OR to put it another way, you are complaining about something in a game you don't really play.

Getting players involved is a neat idea, but as we can see here, it doesn't work. You look at early access games, that doesn't work either because all players do with that is ***** and moan that the game they are getting isn't finished, it requires zero effort. Trying to get them to actually have some real tangible input on feature implementation, like we have here, doesn't work because ***** and moaning is so much easier.

meanwhile someone messaged me last night about registering a pig and we went over the details. sometime between then and 15 minutes ago he managed to make a fresh character and raise the scalp high enough and get locked in for a pig.

i hope those of you who are registering animals are paying attention to threads like these and all the whiney welfare check **** eaters like flame when they come around expecting to buy the fruits of your labor for next to nothing.

I don't play Salem often. I play it when i feel i wanna play it, but even so the question is the same. My main worry is:
"Why devs keeps waitingthe players, when the game is not a player's Property?"

What i see from this Arc waiting is a game with a lot of systems developed, but not running 'cuz "players are lazy".
Honestly.. screw it and create a new quest. Or trash the system.

The players aren't the game developers, so they don't have the right to prevent the game from growing.
I don't have that right, just like the others that doesn't care about the arc. So why Devs are letting me kill an animal system or letting Darw-that decide for that?
I'm not interested on such a power and i feel no guilty if someone is expecting something that big from players that plays for theyr own reasons.

Quests are events that start and end.
The arc is a huge "STOP" to a whole developed mechanism. This is a kick on the game and a source of frustration. Nothing more.

So why do you want to make the developers do as you want?
