There already is lard storage. It's called your mom.

You should keep ignoring your community.

I've already gone over it several times, why we don't want to make EVERYTHING binable. Before stock bins, you could 'illegally' use windmills and fence corner posts to store large amounts of boards and stones. We fixed that bug, but agreed to add stock bins to replace those storages. We absolutely listened to the community to add these things, but we've also imposed a limit on what we'll allow to be stored. I've already said it in several threads that we won't add ore to stock bins for the reason that you can just leave it in the mine in boulders or in the walls of the mine until you need it. You can also build the ore crushers which can hold a good deal of ore waiting for you to put it in the smelters. If that's not good enough, build sheds.

I'll say it once again, even though I've said it in every other thread like this one: This is not "Salem: The Hoarding Game". You can hoard if you want, but you'll have to pay for it. You'll have to build sheds and boxes and buy the land to keep them on. Much like you must grow plants, harvest them, cook food, and eat it rather than just press a button to gain 5 humors. Certain things can be TOO easy.

Curious- you said it yourself- if we want to store stuff we have to pay for it...

So how difficult would it be to make a super expensive ore stock bin?

Stockbins aren't just about materials. They are very compact objects that hold a lot of one material. Without a stockbin for everything people need to spend more time on more space. Nothing wrong with forcing people to make more space vs. using more materials.

Preaching to the Choir... I'm all for more space... but then it comes down to defending it.

Devs favor their consistent customers- their fan base. If you aren't one, took a break, returning, whatever- you will never win an argument..

BIAS as ****...and loving every minute of it. Don't like it?...Quit.

Two Cents.

+1, space is a much more interesting cost to impose on people as a barrier to their goals. Only the most useless materials that no one would reasonably want to collect/hoard but rather just save for purposes of efficiency should get bins.

And you are a consistent customer? Last I heard you have pretty bad rep on the forums so I'm sure I can do fine in any argument.
Whether I "took a break" , "just returning" etc I play around 10-12 hours a day now unless I'm busy with some things irl.

So I do know about this space v.s. materials v.s. defending bit.
How exactly am I being bias? Do you know what that word even means? I'm just explaining why we can't always listen to the community for every request.

If you want more space, then expand the inside of a mine and build what can be built in there and whatever can't be built in a mine you build outside. You waste less space outside and you get more defenses for what space you do have.

There, I just told you how to defend your stuff better and make more space.
