I can't understand one point in your argument: if people will just use macro and watch the game, then response when you ask, then shift click circling through their 10 alts every 10 second, how is that a limit for market? I don' believe making it boring will drive players away from it, instead, it will give cheaters more reasons to preach their propaganda.
You thought I quit.

If/when the 'macroing' of sifting becomes some market crashing cheat-haven I will be the first to let you know. At the moment having it automated is in no way destroying or providing any advantage. If anything I move them out of the water with god powers occasionally to make sure htey are there, and they actually sift slower because they have to walk back :).

JC you could have your cake and eat it too.

Repetitive clicking lovers sift manually.

The rest of us use a sluice box but only find black sand, gemstones, gold flakes 1/2 as often. It's similar to how manually chipping ore is better, but we all have the choice to use the stamp mill instead. I do wish we could occasionally find rare things in our stamp mills too. Again just not as often as manually chipping.

Sure... that is a good point. I could make a very 'slow' sifting process.. Similar to a stamp mill. I'll consider it.

i have not done much sifting however i do not understand all the complaining about it since it takes about 15 seconds to setup a keyboard macro to do the clicking for you and that has already been given the green light in another thread.

At the point everyone is going to macro it - JC should just make a game mechanic to auto do the work.
