I'm so sick and tired of making smoked meats, but the fact of the matter is it's just way amazing right now. Up until around 80 biles you'll end with 0 full and fed up timer, and up into the mid 100s you can get 5-6 points with only about an hour for a timer. Making any other food is terribly inefficient and it removes all strategy aside from how many meat smokers you can stick inside your base and how many you are willing to manage. It also seems like a pretty big disadvantage to smaller players who are hermits. If a new player joined my village we could get them up to 50 that day if we kept the smokers going, then to all 100s in another week. But a person that wants to play alone won't be able to hit that burst of growth until a lot farther in since they'll need to get to where they can hunt bears/deer, get the skill to create smokers, be able to collect iron for the smokers, ect. Overall it just really punishes those that want to play alone
I guess it's a way for those willing to keep them running 24/7 to bile up fast, but it removes the fun of gluttony as it's no longer collecting different ingredients and planning, it's mostly just looking for stupid beaver and loading the things up with sticks.
Overall I simply ask that it gets looked over as compared to other foods, as it's simply just way better then anything else with only an 8 minute full and fed up timer, ability to give up to 30-40 (before our multipliers, which some people already have 100% meat), and close to no gluttony debuff with only 10% 10% of the time.
