well looking at it some more it seems like the two wiki's are doing the inspirations in a different order and also on the template. Herb and sprouts is first in the order while on the old wiki its last. I would think that have to confuse something.

I am looking at this page also and this is where things don't seem to come out right.

Don't change the template unless you plan to shamelessly copy all inspirationals from the other wiki

Changing the template to fix this issue will only ruin any pages where someone has tried to erroneously go against what the template was doing. if everyone just copy/pasted info and corrected facts, these fixes will be a complete transition. This includes people who might''ve wrote up a page from scratch and followed salem-wiki's template.

No, the template is working just fine. It's a simple matter of the inspirationals' values having been updated only recently and the wiki not repopulating the inspirationals category with new cached data of updated stuff. It's not displaying stuff in the wrong columns, it's just displaying old data or not displaying old corrupt data that didn't actually work before I.E. proficiencies still called "Hunting & Gathering" @ Stringy Sinew for example. The template is fine, give it time to sort itself out.

I accessed http://salemwiki.info/index.php/Inspira ... tion=purge and now the Stringy Sinew and Les Fleurs du Mal are updated, presuming anything outdate is also working now. The mediawiki article says that it would've eventually cached the new data, so there's that as an option if people don't want to bother.

I didn't notice that issue. The one I'm talking about has to do with, for example, Herbs & Sprouts being listed under Law & Lore when it's supposed to be between H&N and H&H. It's a really simple fix on the inspirations format. If eric is on, or any other admin+, and sees this all you do is copy/paste the bits pertaining to H&S, etc, and rearrange them so they read in order.

Sigh, let me re-iterate what I meant, perhaps I was unclear. The Fleurs du Mal inspirational in the list of inspirationals on the page http://salemwiki.info/index.php?title=Inspirationals was showing law and lore with the same value as its current H&H value, because the old page for that inspirational did indeed give law and lore. The issue was that eric had only recently added the new info, and the site wasn't caching the new info properly for it to be retrieved by the query. If you check now I would hope you notice any old discrepancies no longer happening, and any issue still there just being a case of having to update each particular inspirational rather than tinkering at all with the template.

The template is fine. The template is properly matching the proficiency icons to the proper columns, I checked all the templates and it is working as it should.

Okay fair enough, sorry for snapping. However I am still confused about the "issue" with the order of proficiencies. They are listed in the same order they are listed in-game, Left to right being analogous to the top-down order in the proficiencies section. Perhaps add a screenshot of what issue you guys are referring to?

, the thing you need to keep in mind that the other templates controlling the order of the icons for the columns match up the respective order of data displayed.

So there still isn't a need to change the templates, they work fine mate Focus on adding other content that's actually missing, or fixing all the missing templates from the tribe food group formatting issues, if any are left.

I've edited the Tribe wiki's Artifact and Inspirational Artifact templates to reflect all the new changes and re-ordered by name, then I had to edit every single artifact to make sure the pages reflected the change. Don't know if you guys care much about such a minor thing, but if you're gonna change it over it's best to do it when you have as few artifacts as possible.
