Should be 2.2.11 for the last few hours. Is dropbox tricking you? :)

will this crash after a certain number of tiles are loaded like the old one?

(for me with 16 gigs of ram i can only make maps up to 35k tiles using the old "salem map tool 3")

The old tool works just fine...

I'm suspicious of any update... that might include sniffer scripts that will deprive me of exclusive access to what I have discovered/created.

No, it does not require much resources and does no depend on the map tiles in any way. (Works rapid with my 42k archive and 8gb ram if you are interested).

The program does not use any connections and so you may block it by any firewall if you feel it is necessary. It does not get updated automatically.
All your markers are stored in the .xml file, but if you feel necessary, you may share them via dropbox or similar tool with your mates, though there may be file access issues.

my dear, google has a habit of blocking any .exes. That said, I won't vouch for this program ;)

Guys, we've been making this program for our own use but since it is no big secret, we've decided to share it with the community.
I know there've been issues with stealing passwords by custom game client in H&H but this program is not a game client and as I have said, it does not require a network connection. So, if you'd like, you can block it by firewall or run it in a sandbox/virtual mode or set access rights on it or do it in any other way you feel safe about. Or you can ignore it and use some other mapping software/sites.
It is just an algorythm of merging and displaying maps.
