...

isn't the updater.jnlp file on your desktop the one you start ender's client with ? The one that shows this:

That is the one you are supposed to start the client with, after swapping the salem.jar in your Salem/bin folder with the listed one. Right now i'm not planning for an easier way to allow the use of my client, but if more people have troubles with the installation that might have to be done after all.

You can hit me up on irc if you have time, and i'll try to get it solved with you :)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

A new update has arrived!

The changelog is as follows; new features will also be added to the first post:

  • Fixed the typo on the homestead pointer button.
  • Changing your homestead pointer will now remove the pointer to the old homestead.
  • Re-instated the hotkey ctrl+F for the flatnesstool.
  • Made the client remember the visibility of the various claims, and of the homestead pointer. Height map is not remembered and will default to invisible.
  • Included an option to enable tracking on log-in.
  • Added the ability to change radar group visibilities without messing with the radar file, in the options tab. These changes will not be remembered and are simply meant for temporary adjustments to your radar config.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

What he means to say is the Raider options were my ideas and he's very sorry for adding them in the public version of the client with out asking for me first.

I guess I could do bright maroon if you really wanted.

I wanted Bright Lime Green to be honest. But hot pink works just the same.

I don't get the stump function. You still have to chop down the trees right?

I believe it is copying the Haven and Hearth Enders function ctrl-H hide option which allows you better vision. Yes, you still have to chop them down. But now you can see what menace is lurking right behind them...

Yes, that was the point.

Merged loftar's code changes for the new resource type.

Ender just updated his client to loftar's update also last night. I'm not getting your's loading with his yet. Do we need to re-download yours to get it to work again?
