Colouring kinned players differently on the minimap?

I am not familiar enough with the internal mechanics of the games' programming to know quite how to do this, and it might not even be possible, but I think this is a feature that a lot of us would love. So, if anyone is knowledgeable enough, and is willing to check it out, that would be super!

Thoughts (will update as they occur to me):
- the code clearly does have a "floating text" graphic marker on top of known players (although not kinned), which could perhaps be used as a tag in radar.xml?
- is there a player id feature that could be used by the minimap (i.e. cross-reference player id with kin list)?

village mates of a different color would be nice too, as i dont trust many of the people on my kin list..

Actually that's a far better way of getting at what I was trying to accomplish: village mates, really.
