Thank you to Symnestry, Ender, and Kandarim for their patience and willingness to help those less savvy than themselves, Yall are awesome.

Now to my current issue...

If I understand the XML file correctly, I should have this set up correctly, but it is NOT showing as I intended.
I want all creatures to show up on the radar. Currently Frog is showing but Cricket, Spider, Beaver and Turkey are not showing. Do not know about other creatures yet.
I want flint to not show up but it currently is showing.
I want berry bushes (both kinds) to show up but currently neither show.

And the solution in your case is that you wasn't throughout enough with case-sensitivity. Next time you experience similar behavior try to open the file in Chrome or something to check if there is errors in the code.

To fix simply change the first tag in your file from <radarconfig> to <radarConfig> and your radar.xml file should work as intended.

Do you run jnlp updater? Do you have multiple java installs? It looks like updater is launched with different Java than the client, so updater downloaded wrong binaries. Try running updater.jar directly (download link is in the first post)

i only have one installation of Java, and I am running the updater.jar directly. I tried wiping java off my computer completely and installing the newest version and that didn't help. I tried several different versions of the client and several different versions of Java, and I tried getting the gluegen.rt.dll from different sources, and none of those helped either.

As the latest change to inventory sorting is on both latikais and enders, I assume ender did that.
(Well, ok, might have been JC but I definately won't touch the vanilla client...)

Feel free to look into latikais thread to harvest some user tears! ¦]

You can add graphic coverage that is building. where you can put the object and where not to ... because it's hard to guess ...

i mean now blazers cant build 1titles 1tiles

Alway a challenge to read what you write! :P

But I'd really like to have that, too!

Simply make it glowing faintly green/red for being placeable/not-placeable where you are currently aiming at with the building.

But before you do that, get us the old sorting back, at least as an option!
