Bugged graphics with Enders

Postby Wournos » Thu Feb 21, 2013 11:03 am

After the recent update the graphics on Mac has changed for the worst.
* Character hair glitches through hats.
* Coal piles have glitchy edges.
* Properly placed farms (except corn) have their growing crops below a tilled field and not on it.

Edit: This seems to be an issue with Ender's client. Please fuse threads if needed.

This is my client, I assume? And not-isometric camera?

Yes, I forgot to check on the default client.

The water level in Roanoke is also wrong. The only water seen are the deep areas. Shallow water looks like diseased tilled fields. The base of all trees are glitching too. So I guess there is something off with the z-level of everything.

Am getting the same issue as well, but I'm using Windows. Seems to be an issue with the camera with ender's client. Isometric is fine, but follow and freestyle gives the glitchiness as posted above.

That's odd because I have no issues on Windows, and I have the same camera setting on both machines. It's the smooth follow option.

I use my laptop without a mouse, so the Freestyle cam is a life-saver. However, it's got the described issue since the update, yeah. Windows 7. Java 7.

Since this looks like an issue with Ender's client only so far, I moved to Artifice & Arcana. If this shows to actually be an issue with the default client, I (or another mod) will be glad to move it back or a new thread can be created. I updated the title, too.

I had this happen too. I've been using the low res textures. I found that by disabling these textures the problem goes away. Seems like it's a texture issue.

Unfortunately, I get 2-3 seconds per frame in boston without the low res textures so I hope there's a way to fix it!

:( :(

Edit: I take that back, it doesn't go away but it's nowhere near as bad with the stock textures
