I don't understand one part of the mapping process

Postby aryaa » Mon Feb 04, 2013 2:28 am

So I have merged the maps so that they fit together properly, and I have exported them (Saved). From there, how do I get it to go on the world map?

You upload them somewhere, and either PM me, post in the main thread, or PM me :) If the merge is 25MB or smaller, you can also just email me the zipfile - imrielle@gmail.com

I am quite new to this. Once I have it saved on my computer using that program, how do I upload it somewhere and send it to you?
I thought that it would save as one big picture, but in the program I tried taking the folder and copy/pasting it to my desktop, and when i opened it, there was like 300+ separate pictures of tiles.

Right click the folder it saved the merge to, and have it create a zipfile, or an archive.

You CAN have it save as one big picture, though those aren't of any use to me (I do need the tiles, though, not the big file) - the bottom set of check boxes will do this. Top check box is for tiles, one under it is for big image, two under THAT are for jpeg or PNG big images.

DropBox, MegaUpload, SpeedyShare - anything really, I'm not picky. http://www.speedyshare.com/ is pretty decent though
