no its not, clear your salem java cache and reinstall

Are you sure? In the original post he says it is outdated and not to use it. He says he doesn't know when he'll be able to update it. Confirmation from anyone who is currently able to use this client.

i hope to god you find the time to update it! I cannot play Salem without YOUR client...really only the minimap cuz your client has the BEST minimap. Actual pics of what things are, are far more helpful than lil square and circles. I beg of you good sir please take a few mins and update this client! I cannot play Salem without it....vanilla is just a terrible UI and map and Enders Map is just plain eye hurting....

get used to Ender's, it's worthy... there's other stuff like timers and a better terrain tool... it doesn't take long to recognize the shapes and colors...
