About the map merger...

I'm trying to merge 2 maps I have: an older one that's bigger and a smaller, just charted, newer map.

The problem I have are the common tiles of the two maps. In the new map created by merging these 2, the Map Merger uses the tiles common between my maps from the old map instead of from the newer map. Terrain might have changed, settlements have appeared and I want that to be reflected in the merger I'll get.

Any way I can tell the program to use all tiles from my new map, and then fill the missing parts from the old one...instead the other way around it's doing now...something like flag one map "Primary" and other one "Secondary"? :?:

Export the two with the tile_0_0 set to the same tile (0, 0 is whatever your selected tile is). Copy, paste, overwrite with the newer tiles. I'm not sure why your older tiles are used instead of the newer, that was never the case for me unless I replaced newer ones with older tiles manually.

I moved the tiles so that I could share them with Droj (they were not easily sharable in the old location).
His thread is here: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=6685

Hopefully you can view his map - I have never been able to.

I have a fully working mapsystem with mysql support for marker &-usermanagement, but it's not rdy for public yet (i don't have enough time to finish it)
