Updated my preview with some new tiles and darkness marks

I'm just trying to figure out where is my area located toward the global map and in which direction is BostonRoanoke

Roanoke is probably more south at the east coast.

this can't be since red lies are the edges: http://i50.tinypic.com/2e5pkk6.png

Well, your preview part is certainly not south of Roanoke.
Roanoke is where I have made the red circle.
The east coast of your preview has to be north of that.
Either that or your map is not from the Roanoke server at all.

This is Roanoke indeed
another weird part is that the whole area is extremly underpopulated compared to the main map
Ok, i think i'll just try to head south along the beach this weekend and see where will this lead me to

Hitori, Roanoke is south of the east edge of your preview. The darkness appears to be about 19,000 pixels (190 map tiles) from Roanoke in every direction in a circle.

Well I noticed other people host their map trough a dropbox account
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3550770/salemmap/karta.html

Its a working map just on dropbox account so no problems with hosting
You could give it a try

I can't/won't host the map site on there for several reasons:
1.) Dropbox is not a web hosting server, its a file host.
2.) As a file hosting service versus a webhosting service, there are several limitations that would essentially require this to be a flat-file web site, IE, no dynamic content, and no reading/writing to pages on the 'fly'.
3.) There were several features suggested/requested for the old Plymouth map project that I would like to implement. They would require a web host, as they would require some form of database backend.

It was a good suggestion, though (oh and your zoom levels are broken).

its not my map so i can't say anything about the zoomlevels :)
i just found it on google
but well their are loads of decent free hosts available that would be good as well

and I send a mail to the adres found in the first post asking how much tiles you need to donate before getting acces to the map
