Hi there -

Trying to run Enders client on my laptop and it crashes right after I select my char and begin to load into the world. Crash log below:

I have an older laptop (Lenovo running Win 10 home), i5 processor running at 2.5Ghz, 4GB ram and 64 bit operating system.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'm not that tech savvy but if there is something basic that can be done I'd love to get Enders running over the default client.

Thanks!

Check OpenGL version for your videocard, please.

Unfortunately it is an internal card:

Intel HD Graphics 3000

Graphics memory is shared and is 1632MB, Intel video BIOS.

Dont think there is open GL...if so where would I find the version?

the client requires opengl and comes with an implementation.

What you want to know is the supported OpenGL version by your graphics card. Which is actually high enough for your graphics card (3.1).
Please make sure that shadows/antialiasing/high quality water are turned off. Those tend to produce crashes like this.

If that doesn't work, you can try typing

Code: Select all
:gl meshmode d

in the console when you are in the character select screen; i doubt it will help, but it's worth a shot.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.
