It would be fine that you tranlate it in german, but i think you shoulnd translate the Gamenames, mean that it is better only to translate the descriptions, because people lost the ability to understand all the english howtos and they never understand it if an english speaking people tells about a skill or itemname.

For the Ä's and so on try to use the html codes for that, maybe it works.

Yeah I got the PM: the text file *should* be saved as UTF-8.
The umlaut thing is an issue with the in-game rendering (which was fixed for a while, but I can't remember what I did to break it again). This happened specifically with the flatness tool and the claim window which stated something like mÃ2 instead of m².

I'll have to look into it, but I make no promises on how fast I can do such.

On the topic of translation, I concur that I do not feel the names of things should be translated (e.g. Faith and Wisdom to Glaube und Weisheit) but rather their explanations, in favour of keeping the many language factions not too separate.

PS: also, confirmed heffernan mad :)

Also, "aufgestiegen auf level 2" sounds funny. Sure that shouldn't be "gestiegen auf level 2"? That's as far as my german goes :)

"Aufgestiegen zum Level 2" would be ok I guess.

Little side note: Hefferman, there are a lot of things where I would suggest you don't just translate 1:1 (like "hideworking" I would rather suggest "Fellverarbeitung", "Cloak and Dagger" actually has a totally different meaning in a sense of "mysteriös" and others as well). Very often Leo would help.

Btw: not meant as criticism.

I would reorder this: "Dein Wahnsinn ist auf Level 2 gestiegen!"

This sounds correct.

And if we at correct Translations it should be "Stufe" instead "Level" ;)
