ok same error for all my town mates as well. as soon as they quit and reload the client people are no longer able to connect. somethings gone wrong with the modded updater files in the last hour or so. as a princess once put it a long time ago in a galaxy far far away 'Help Us EnderWiggin, You're Our Only Hope'.

I too am getting this problem. I use to get it every once and a while but no more than 3 retries and it would start, but now its constant.

pretty sure this is what happens when the website hosting the client goes down, and also why i would prefer a manual updater instead of having to run the patcher every time.

well if you launch the normal client it re-downloads the whole thing and it seems to work but ender wont launch still.

It looks like there was an update of sorts. I'm having the same issues. I'm tempted to not play until Ender's client is working again.

Dropbox is redirecting to https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/18779594/salem/, but Java Web Start doesn't support HTTPS. What's worse, hitting the same URL with HTTP results in no connection.
