normally i like the custom icons... but the salamander one is a bit hard to see.
*i know how to hide them from the map and change the color/symbol but don't know how to do any thing with the icons.*

The icons you see in the minimap are actually present in the default client these days. I haven't really looked into getting rid of them, but in general I like them. Maybe it might be possible to create a custom icon for specific items that create issues, such as the salamander with the layer util. It would definitely be easier for me
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

I keep randomly getting kicked back to the login screen. No crash report, no predictable patterns for when it will happen and I don't have to restart the client to log back in. Ender's and vanilla clients work just fine

Did you have the violin players muted?

My Latikai client fails to show my characters in the character selection screen, thus I can't login to existing characters... Is there a way for me to fix this?

You probably have a name or string half way typed out at the bottom of your select screen.

make sure you're not pressing control-shift-q: it's a configureable hotkey that by default executes :act lo

Nope, that's what I always use to log out so I'm sure I'm not accidentally pressing it.

I haven't been kicked out for a while, though. I'm beginning to think that JC has something to do with this. ¦]
