Salem Client by Ender

How do you go about uninstalling the custom client, The client itself was fantastic. But I'd rather just stick with the default.

There's no such thing as uninstalling it, more than clearing your java cashe. Just download the normal client and it will be called "Salem" instead of "Custom Salem".

I finally have received a code so now I can play. I've been a fan of your H&H client since the beginning, so I have installed this one too.
Now I have fiddling around with the options and I ticked the Shadows box. Now when I log in the screen just goes black with "Loading" in the middle, and then my screen blinks and the client is all white screen.
Is this a problem caused by the client or is it me? I still have the older Java (6.29( to be able to run H&H smoothly. And I wish to keep that, since I don't want to keep reinstalling Java's in order to play both games.

i strongly suggest you not to run .29 of jre6, there is a nice security hole which allow malicious code to be executed

To fix this delete file salem.cfg file in client folder - this will reset shadow settings. As for the error itself - do you have integrated videocard? Can you provide file error.log from client folder?

Hey Ender,

It blew my mind when I found out you'd released a custom Salem client, and I'm really ***** floored by it, especially the foraging radar. What I was wondering is if there is anything I can add to radar.xml to make it display the location of sleds on the minimap. I've come uncomfortably close to losing my sled a few times by getting turned all around by the wonky camera, and I think this would be really helpful.

I keep getting the message "this client is too old" when I try to start. It worked fine yesterday but suddenly started doing this. I've redownloaded the client but it still gives me this message. Any ideas?

Hi, I only got my beta key a week ago so I'm new to all this. When the client is updated, do we have to download a new one, or will the client patch itself?
