Client update: introduced ctrl-G for toggling the backpack and ctrl-R for toggling the toolbelt window.
Unlikely to work with all toolbelts (as it looks for named windows containing 'belt' in their name) but should work with all backpacks.

If you have any belts that do not work with the feature (every one of them will open, but not all may close), let me know and I will patch it in.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Dope, no more clicking to open them now!

Hey also, if its not to much to ask, could you make it so it saves the chat window and options buttons so they stay open/closed on client restart? Its a small thing but would be such a great QoL improvement.

What's with the small red circles around my toon (and it shows up around the Mannequins as well)... looks like the firing circles for long range mortar?

Don't see any new options in the menu. Didn't see it a few hours ago.

any chance that a type of auto fish function can be put in just like the autobucket and auto sift features?

aww crap - that leaked through ? They were experimental features to denote the stomp/uppercut/cleave range of your character. didn't mean to make them public yet.
Oh well, consider this their release notes.

it's not as easy as autosift or autobucket: both of those have a very simple indicator that they are going on (i.e. "progress finished + sift cursor", or "empty bucket + standing over water").
For fishing, it's not as easy, as it does not have a simple indicator or memory: there is no easy progress bar and there is no easy indicator that a fishing attempt finished.
In addition to that, sifting and buckets are easily limited through time because of the fact that you simply cannot carry much of either - but fishing is much more troublesome in my mind, and goes beyond QoL to botting.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

The golden gear bottom left, next to the chat window unhides the buttons in the bottom left.

If they could be saved as open, and the chat window stays up, my life would be complete.

Pirate captain's sash doesn't respond to close commands -- The window header is titled "Piratesash" when open.
