is it possible to get a bigger viewing distance, something you can scale yourself? That it also will show objects all the way in that distance.
Darkness is unknowing, Light is knowing. Shed light to the Darkness to transform it into knowing. Thus it becomes Light.
Darkness is the absence of thought.

what do you mean ? The issue where the backpack / pockets don't work with shift+click and the like?

Sadly, no. The client simply draws whatever it gets from the server. It doesn't know anything about stuff that isn't currently rendered (and keeping them in memory would create issues with them being changed without the client being aware).
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Hi, how to open a grid that shows the roughness of the earth?

CTRL+L will open the heightmap window and capture the mouse cursor. Select the area of ground you wish to inspect, then click on the "Release" button in the window to return your cursor to normal operation. If you wish to change your selection, click the button again which will now be labeled "Grab".

ctrl+F will do the same,if you would prefer opening the flatness tool with your left hand.

New update released:

* The camera will start off further from your character upon log in.
* The button to mute the violin player now tries to guilt trip you into not doing it.
* Chat messages are now logged by default. They will end up in "C:\Users\<account>\Salem\logs\<character>\<channel name>\".
* Customizeable hotkeys! Check the new tab in the options for more details. Currently only console commands can be linked to hotkeys, and only to shift+ctrl hotkeys.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Thanks for update!

Would it be possible to implement some sort of visual outlining for tiles in minimap, so it would look like a grid of tiles?

what do you mean? outlining the grids/supergrids as in the world maps? (note that absolute coordinates are practically impossible)

Yes, not coordinates but merely outlining the tiles some way.
This helps me (and probably others too) to systematically cartograph areas.
