Ok I tryed it myself, new project from existing sources ... everything loads fine, can't build it of course, all the errors you get are from the missing javax libraries, not included in the standard JDK apparently (I've read somewhere that they are included in the Enterprise edition of the JDK ).

You should still be able to download them manually from "somewhere", what that "somewhere" should be apparently caused more than a few concerns and discussions on StackOverflow, you may want to take a look at those ...

EDIT:
Ok, I worked a bit to find all the sources:

javax opengl library add only jogl-all.jar from that archive
JNLP add only jnlp.jar

You also need this and this that I could not find in the .jar format, you will have to build those yourself and add the resulting jar to the libraries.

Once all the import problems have been solved, I'm left with an error in haven\HavenPanel.java

EDIT 2:

nvm the libraries, the jars were in Salem's dir ... why didn't I look there before ? :?

I once managed to compile ender's client from source, and if I recall correctly I only needed to download jogl and gluegen-rt libraries to correctly compile & link the client. That linux machine has since been retired and replaced, so I don't actually have access to the set-up anymore. Can you post here with results if you ever get them ?

I'm using Ender's sources:

1) Download the Zip from github and extract somewhere
2) Netbeans -> New Project From Existing Sources -> when at the "Existing Sources" dialog, add the dir that you just extracted
3) Netbeans -> Manually add every jar file in .\lib\ ( from the dir you extracted before ) as libraries to the project

No need to download any other library.
It compiles and builds, but it doesn't run of course, since I have no idea where the main class is ...

could someone please help me out?

recently when i try to load ender client, it checks for updates as usual but now it ALWAYS finds updates for EVERYTHING. I know there is no actual update and it just wants to download the files every time (i have a temporary fix but need a permanent one) :(

if anyone has any solutions or ideas they could share with me, it would be much appreciated :)
