If you start the game with .jnlp file then it will automatically download the files it's missing. But when you start with .bat it expects that all files are available locally. So you will have to download all needed files yourself. AFAIR there was some app on the forum which would automatically pull resource files.
Java is supposed to it on it's own ... given the right start parameters ... anyway, where is this app to download the res files? I searched the forums and found nothing, I also tryed to download them manually but, of course, they disabled listing (I'm not even sure it's *legal* to pull those files off the seatribe site and put them somewhere outside of the java cache ... ).
Seriously tho, the client is barely usable, I get crashes ( out of memory ) even using the jnlp file, since it only allocates 512M ... I tryed to force it to allocate 1024M but, every time I do, the game doesn't even start (cannot create JWM).
I hate Java so much ... ...
