We can replicate the flickering on one of our 4 testing computers. We are not exactly sure the reason for it though at this moment. Happens on Default client too though.

Reeds on minimap

Yaay first post fellas hahaha :D

Anyways, I've been thinking a lot about this matter and decided to share with you guys. I dunno if this is only temporary or not but Reeds spawn rate is GODDAMM High and this ends up messing with the whole minimap when we are on water terrains .

My suggestion is a "Hide Reeds" options so that we can keep our minimap clean without disabling all the Herbs ;)

What do you guys think about this? o/

Welcome to the forum! I was told this is being addressed so i imagine they'll release a fix soon.

We have fix'd the reeds from spawning on the minimap which will be live with the next patch.

About the flickering... I had some gfx issues before the patch too. If I turned on the pretty water some textures would randomly disappear (leaving surfaces white) and flicker if only there was water in my range of sight. It happened on kandarim's client, didn't test with default

I can't believe I've had such issues with this before (mustn't have looked too well), but I hope to have an option for turning off smoke, soon.
