boston/home fast travel?!

this is really weird, i'm not sure if its been mentioned before. but i got a screenshot. basically what happened was a i went to boston bought a backpack, traded a gourd for a coat then fast traveled back home. when i arrived my homestead was underwater. i instantly knew something was wrong so i looked at the map, half of it is correct and the other half is not. (yes i know i'm using enders client.) but i dont know if it could be a problem with the client or something else going on. i dont know how to recreate it it's never happened before. anyways here's the pic.
