while sailing, I could pick up a trap but couldn't drop it with any known methods. Neither could I leave the canoe because I was carrying the trap and should've dropped it before leaving the canoe. Relogging led to the loss of the trap.
(I think it should be made possible to drop traps in the middle of the water body.)

upd. Nah, I could disembark while carrying an object. Still, looking forward to possibility of dropping traps in the water.
