Probably already been posted before but not sure if there was clear answer on this.

As many of you may know it's possible to summon characters instantly around the world that have no homestead by using throw away alts carrying any type of evidence relating to the former. This method has been used from what I've heard recently to raid villages around Salem. Although there is a very slight window of opportunity to catch the perpatrator at your own homestead and exact justice, it is just; very small and unpredictable.

This is an intended use of a game mechanic that is currently being abused to people's advantage. Would like to hear jorb or loftar's thoughts on this and whether there will be some type of fix in the forseeable future that prevents abuse like this from happening.

My suggestion for simple and fast solution decrease stats for every summoning, even if criminal escape you, somehow, he get punishment:)

The devs are quite aware of this and are considering options. It's not an easy fix, though.

Just know it's being worked on and speculation isn't going to really serve anyone. It is fun, though, and someone might come up with something useful. I'm not sure that this will really stop the abuse, just slow it down a little. (People will just make more alts.)

You make a good point... write script... constantly summon your criminal... protected from summoning until end of time (or bot gets disconnected).

Some kind of humour penalty would more than stop this abuse at higher end.

well., if you already had all of your own evidence..... :!:

lick the window all ya want

it would lessen the chances of abuse if all evidence from the same crime had a delay to re summon, this type of abuse, is far and between anyhow
