launch freeze

both enders and the standard client freeze at "verifying application" it stays like that for hours, I would like to play, but I cannot get the game to run. any help?

Try
clearing your Java cache and see if that helps.

Already tried that and didn't help much, if any.

cleared it. same result. just freezes in the "verifying/starting application" phase. kinda annoyed.

Sorry, in that case I can't think of any other cause right now.
If anything, you could try upgrading Java or something.

I'm already at Java 7, so idk how much more i could upgrade it.

Friend was having this problem, I told him to turn off Windows UAC and it works just fine now. Go figure.

control panel>user accounts>change user account control settings
