Theft Bug

So, a minute ago I was chatting in the IRC channel and some guy named Xantoria claimed he came across a bug.
A friend of him let him in his claim, using only the tresspassing ability. Xantoria was looking around and he tested something with a driftwood. He tried to split it and that accually worked.
This shouldn't be possible without theft, so I assume this is a bug.

I found this bug in one of the earlier world and they removed the ability study things but apparently the alternate uses like "split" didn't get fixed.

trespassing allows you to interact with items on the claim

This is true if you read the description of the trespassing skill itself. Since your not actually taking the item, removing the item from it's container it's not counted as theft.

The definition of theft in Salem is to have something afterward and not to remove property from the owner? So destroying something (the inspirational) basically is not a crime?

It should be, which is why it's a bug. Interacting with things on the claim (from the Trespassing skill) shouldn't mean you can consume the food and items there without having Theft or Waste and leaving the associated scents.
