the game wont open y

I'm guessing I have the same problem, salem.jnlp doesn't open.

I have verified that java is installed and updated. But when I click on "launch client" ..nothing happens. No pop-up, error message ..nothing?

No one can even try to help you if you don't give info. Computer info, java, the error if you are getting one. What stage is it having trouble in, etc.

ok, I had to uninstall java and reinstall it to get it to associate with the proper file.
