Unable To Launch Application

I registered and downloaded my Salem account yesterday, and was able to play with no problems. I purchased a new computer, which was delivered yesterday evening. Every time I attempt to download the Salem client on my new computer, I receive an "Unable to launch application" error. I'm not sure what the problem is. I have installed (and reinstalled) Java several times.

Provide the error reports and details you receive, please. Otherwise, we can't really give you any good pointers.

If this is the ONLY thing you are receiving, then something is blocking Java or Salem from running. You can verify that it's not the computer blocking Java by trying some other Java app. If these run, you need to check Java's security settings and make sure all are set to "Ask permission" instead of "Block".
